AI Moments Recorder Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026
Last updated: October 20, 2026

AI Moments Recorder is a browser extension operated by an individual developer under the AI Moments brand. It helps you record audio from supported AI conversation webpages, keep recordings in your browser, and voluntarily publish a Full Conversation or Clip to the AI Moments Website.

Age requirement: AI Moments Recorder is intended for people who are 18 years of age or older. The product does not currently perform automated age verification.

Information collected and how it is used

Audio recording

When you actively start a recording, the extension may request microphone access and capture audio from the selected browser tab. Recording is initiated by your action. The extension does not start recording simply because a supported webpage is open.

The recording and related metadata are saved in your browser's local IndexedDB storage. Metadata can include a title, AI provider, capture mode, duration, local identifiers, and clip boundaries. A recording that remains local is not uploaded to AI Moments merely because it exists on your device.

Account and sign-in

To upload or publish, you use the AI Moments email sign-in flow. Supabase Auth processes the email address and authentication session needed to sign you in. The extension keeps the session in Chrome extension storage so it can restore the signed-in state. The reviewed product does not use your authentication session as analytics content.

Uploads and publication

An upload starts only after you choose the Share or Upload action. The selected Full Conversation or Clip audio is sent to the AI Moments Website's Supabase Storage service, and publication metadata is sent to the Website. The server validates uploaded media before publication.

When you publish a work as Public, its publication page and selected display metadata can be accessed by other internet users. Public audio is played through a time-limited signed media address. Do not publish audio or information that you do not want to make publicly accessible.

If an authorized upload is interrupted, the extension may retain a pending-share record and resume checking or completing that same task after a later sign-in or restart. This does not upload every local recording automatically.

Services we use

AI Moments uses Supabase for email authentication, database operations, and private media storage. The Website uses these services to validate, publish, authorize, and play works. The Website may be hosted by a hosting provider selected for the AI Moments service.

The Website records limited interaction events such as page views, public moment impressions, playback milestones, likes, comments, shares, upload actions, submission completion, repeat submissions, and reports. These events can include a signed-in account identifier, a browser session identifier, a public moment identifier, and limited allow-listed metadata such as page or share method. The reviewed implementation does not intentionally send raw audio, authentication tokens, signed media addresses, or arbitrary event metadata.

The reviewed implementation does not show an advertising SDK or a separate third-party analytics SDK. Service and deployment details may change as the product evolves.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Local recordings remain in browser storage until you delete them or browser or extension storage is cleared. Deleting a local recording does not delete a work that has already been published on the Website.

The Website supports owner deletion of a published work. It marks the work deleted and attempts to remove its associated media; a cleanup failure may require follow-up. A published work may therefore remain in operational records for a period needed to complete deletion, investigate an incident, or satisfy a legal or security obligation.

There is no single fixed retention period for all accounts, published works, analytics events, comments, likes, reports, or security and audit records. We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, for service integrity, and for applicable legal or security requirements. Security and audit records may be retained after a work or account request so that abuse, fraud, and operational incidents can be investigated.

The current product does not provide self-service account deletion. To request account and associated data deletion, email hoot69066@gmail.com. We will verify account ownership, review related records and media, and respond about what can be deleted. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or audit reasons.

Security and safety

Access to private media is checked before the Website issues a short-lived signed playback address. Publication and interaction actions are authenticated and ownership or moderation checks are applied by the Website. The reviewed product includes safety and reporting records, but it does not currently claim that an automated content-scanning provider is active.
